    A show on the big screen in the Capitol theatre of O&W best works and a reflection of 4 years creating as a community.

  • Thesis

    July 19th, 25th, and August 5th.

    3 weeks of hands on learning around creative direction, designing a concept, sourcing your set, and executing editorial photography

  • The Commencement

    August 20th.

    An inter-disciplinary, interactive exhibition featuring a silk projection display of works from “Thesis”, and exclusively composed live music.

COMMENCEMENT

Commencement will be a multidisciplinary event at the new Grotto Commons Building  ft. exclusive, photos produced by THESIS.

Public disco porch will be composing music in tandem with our ideation sessions and playing live to create an immersive, unique showing. 

Boom Creative and Older & Wiser Co. will also design an art installation for attendees to walk through, touch, feel, and experience

Thesis is a hands on learning experience that dives into concept design and production skills in the context of editorial photography.

July 19th and 25th, 5:30-8:30 Dreamwrights Center for Community Arts

We’ll write characters, storylines, and shot lists, while dreaming up ways to emulate those ideas in costume, makeup, model selection and location.

August 5th, Time/ Location TBD

The third week is a multi set photoshoot led by Obscura Studios and Gretchen Nevin. This day will be the final step in bringing ideas to real life! All of our pieces from group sessions will be put together on a set and photographed to be showcased at Commencement.
